Bilingual Validation Engineer – Infotainment Systems

In this position, you will develop software test plans and perform functional testing for In-Vehicle Infotainment systems.

Job Location:

Michigan, Ohio, Texas, or Kansas

Job Descriptions:

• Validation and verification of In-Vehicle Infotainment system on benches and in test vehicles
• Setting up test environment and benches
• Execute test cases and report test results
• Capture all necessarily logs and report bugs to developers

Responsibilities:

• Implement test strategies that adequately assess all software aspects
• Investigate and recreate reported defects
• Work with other engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Track and document all testing defects and resolutions
• Participate in the design and development of test cases and support

Requirements:

• Fluent in English (business Level) and Japanese (native level)
• Experience in testing embedded systems
• Knowledge/ experience with CAN network and CAN tools
• Experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA and Redmine
• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Strong root-cause analysis skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to isolate problems, assess the issue and clearly communicate the source and symptoms of the problem to others
• Willing to work fast-paced projects
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to keep detailed records
• Good communication skills to work with other teams and our clients
• Proficiency with PC software (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license
• Legal work authorization in the US

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in testing automotive infotainment systems
• Experience in working with Android and Linux
• Experience with MOST
• Familiarity with WiFi and Bluetooth
• Experience in creating test plans and test cases based on technical specifications
• Previous experience with leading a team and managing a projects is a plus.
• Ability to go business trips up to 25%
